At the 19th edition of Chiemsee Reggae Summer this year’s festival season came to a joyful end for the Reggaeville team. In the South German Uebersee 25,000 fans cheered and celebrated together to the music of TOK, Patrice and Busy Signal. For the massive at home Reggaeville provided up to date photos, live videos, and personal interviews throughout the entire weekend. For the seventh time Righteous Riddims are setting up the dubplate studio at Chiemsee Reggae Summer this year.
The 3-day event located on South Bavaria welcomes artists such as Luciano, Toots Hibbert, Junior Kelly, Capleton, U-Brown, Linval Thompson or Prezident from August 26th til 28th.

After a four-year break the Dutch festival is back in Eindhoven, presenting itself just for one day, but with an impressive line up. International artists such as Alpha Blondy, Gentleman, and Protoje had the fans enjoy a great, positive event. For more than ten hours the bass had the beach in Eersel shaking and the fans rocking. The artists also find the time for some good talks. Bersenbrück’s Reggae Jam was the perfect setting for another episode of Wha’ Gwaan Munchy?!?. British singjay Gappy Ranks joined me to host the show, and also the Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths passed through to greet the fans and spread love. The NGO supports educational and library projects in Jamaica according its motto Education For A Change.
