Because not just one but two great debut albums are on their way to be released, the current Riddim magazine (www.riddim.de) is graced with a double cover front and back highlighting both Jesse Royal and Kabaka Pyramid. The two lyricists talk about their first records that are yet to hit the stores, while Sonny Roberts, the Kingston All Stars and Devon “Toops” Gardener remind us of the history of our music. I spoke to keyboard player and producer Llamar “Riff Raff” Brown about his very personal story that led him to be one of the top musicians in the business at only 30 years.
