Stories and histories in the new Riddim mag

Triumphantly celebrating 20 years of Reggae Jam in August, the festival’s promoter Sheriff had quite some stories to share with me. Read the impressive history including baby lions, somersaults, and Marcia Griffiths on the trailer of a lawn mower in the festival guide of Riddim’s latest issue. Furthermore I met with Winta James of Overstand Entertainment in Jamaica to revisit his personal story of success from the failed prep school teacher to the prolific hit maker. The magazine also includes deep articles on Popcaan and Bugle, both shining recently with strong new records, and an intense culture talk with Rasta-activist Clinton Hutton.
